- Set heat to low or medium-low and simmer for 40-50 minutes
- Brown ground beef and onion.

- Cook for an additional 35 minutes on med-low heat.
- Add the cheese and cover long enough for the cheese to melt.
- To finish add a dollop of sour cream to the individual servings along with the fresh cut tomatoes.
