- Rutabaga is known as "Swiss turnip". Peel it and slice it into about 8 mm thick round slices.
- Place it in a silicone steamer or in a microwavable plastic bag, and microwave it for 1 minute 30 seconds.
- Add olive oil and the coarsely ground salt and pepper into shirasu and chopped parsley. MIx them well.
- Top the sliced rutabagas from Step 2 with the mixture from Step 3. Decorate them with the pink peppercorns.
