- Now spread oil in the idli maker and then add the mixture to it. Now let the steam come till then rest.
- Now wash the pigeon pea and soak it for half an hour. Then put it in the cooker. And now add salt, turmeric and water in the dal and boil it.
- Take one fry pan and put oil and heat it. Add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds and red chilli. Then add tomato.
- When tomato are sautés add all the vegetables in it. Then add all the masala in it and water and let it boil for 2-3.
- Then add the boiled dal in it. And add tamarind water. And let it boil. And then off the gas.
- Healthy rava idli sambhar is ready.
I am sure most kids will like rava idli, I usually don't use eno / soda and still it comes out soft with. For making rava idli, I have used coarse variety of semolina.
