  2. Prepare 1/2 bowl pigeon peas
  3. Take 1 normal sized onion

  7. Prepare 1 cup Gram flour
  8. Make ready 1 inch ginger
  9. Take 2 Bay leaves
  10. Get 3-4 green(spicy) chilli
  11. Make ready 1 kashmiri red dry chilli
  12. Prepare 1 normal size potato
  13. Make ready As per taste Red chilli powder
  14. Get to taste Salt
  15. Make ready 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  16. Prepare 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  17. Get 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  18. Prepare 5-6 spoons Oil
  19. Take As required Peanuts
  20. Take Handful Curry leaves

Food is what people and animals eat to survive. Food usually comes from animals and plants. It is eaten by living things to provide energy and nutrition. Food contains the nutrition that people and animals need to be healthy.

Steps to make Foodfood:
  1. Firstly, cut onion in long pieces, and tomato in small pieces, and grind all spices in mixer jar (garlic, ginger, green chilli, Kashmiri red chilli) then take a pressure cooker and add oil in it and heat it, after that add mustard seeds in it when it fried then add chopped onion, cook it untill it changes its colour in pink.
  2. Now when onion changes it's colour then add chopped tomato in it, cook it untill tomato gets soft, then add grind paste of spices.
  3. Mix and cook it well, then add chopped potato in it, cook it for 2 mins and then add turmeric powder, salt to taste and mix it after 2 mins add red chilli and garam masala in it and also add curry leaves in it.
  4. Then mix it properly, and add rice and pegion pea in it and fry for 2 mins and add 3 bowl water in it and cook it up to 2 whistles.
  5. Then it's ready. You can cook it in less time and serve it hot.
  6. After that for increasing the taste of maharashtrian khichdi that's why we make curry.
  7. For Curry: take 1 bowl of buttermilk and add 2 spoons of gram flour and mix it properly, there's no lumbs required in it.
  8. After that take a pan, add 2 spoons oil, and add turmeric powder in it and add the buttermilk which we mix up with gram flour. After that add salt to taste and 2 pieces of garlic in it and add water which consistency you want and cook it untill it gets boil and add Curry leaves in it without curry leaves it's not completed. So your masala khichdi and curry is ready in Maharashtrian style with extra spices.
